Claudia, RMT

Claudia grew up in Germany, where she was educated as a nurse and then set out to learn different forms of complementary and traditional medicine. After graduating as a Holistic Health Practitioner in Germany she moved to Canada and worked as an Educational Assistant for children with special needs, an RN in Geriatric Rehab and currently enjoys her work as an RMT.

After a horseback riding injury, she discovered how CranioSacral Therapy can help with physical and emotional aftermaths of a severe fall. Since then she has specialized in CranioSacral Therapy and learned that deep pressure is not always necessary to have good results. With gentle but specific techniques most areas of tension can get addressed successfully.

Claudia has taken courses in lymphatic drainage and visceral manipulation and appreciates how these modalities complement one another. She has successfully helped clients to deal with issues like headaches and neckpain, TMJ pain, whiplash, digestive problems and pelvic floor dysfunctions. This kind of session has a different flow than a deep tissue or Swedish massage. If that is your preference, please see another RMT at this clinic.

Claudia also offers:

  • Hot Bamboo massage,
  • Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT)
Gentle hands-on techniques designed to move lymphatic fluids, resolve stagnations and relax tight muscles. It is experienced as very relaxing, regenerating and nurturing.
LDT supports the immune system, detoxification, reduces swellings and edema and helps to relieve chronic pain.
  • Protocol for Detoxification, Allergies and Food Sensitivities
Using the power of touch and awareness, this protocol helps to connect specific structures of the brain with the bone marrow and possible emotional trauma.
For some reason, this work has helped people to tolerate foods they previously had strong reactions to.
